Terms of service

1. The service

TokenTwirl provides digital token boards that parents set up for their children. You must be 18 or older and a parent or legal guardian, or have their permission, to add a child’s profile.

2. Your account

Keep your password and parent PIN private. You’re responsible for activity on your account and on the devices you pair. You can revoke a device at any time from the Devices page.

3. Trial, billing and cancellation

• New households get a 14-day free trial with no card required.
• After the trial, the Family plan costs $3 per month or $25 per year (USD), plus applicable taxes, billed in advance through Stripe until you cancel.
• If the trial ends without a payment method, the service pauses until you add one. Your data is kept.
• You can cancel at any time from your Account page. Access continues until the end of the paid period.
• If you’re unhappy, ask within 14 days of a charge and we’ll refund it.
• We’ll give at least 30 days' notice by email before changing prices.

4. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no attempts to break security, overload it, or access another family's data. Task suggestions are ideas, not advice. Use your own judgement about what is safe and suitable for your child.

5. Your content

You own what you put in. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the service for you.

6. Availability

We work hard to keep TokenTwirl running, and boards keep counting taps offline and sync when they reconnect. But the service is provided "as is", without guarantees of uninterrupted availability.

7. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it.

8. Ending the service

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, and will tell you why.
